IBM selected to build a blockchain based system for Global Banks

IBM has announced that it has been selected to build a new IBM blockchain based international trading system for a series of banks. Banks include Deutsche Bank, HSBC, KBC, Natixis, Rabobank, Société Générale and UniCredit.

IBM plans to build on its platform known as Hyperledger FabricHyperledger Fabric is a business blockchain framework hosted on Hyperledger intended as a foundation for developing blockchain applications or solutions with a modular architecture.

Hyperledger Fabric establishes trust, transparency, and accountability through: Permissioned network, Confidential transactions, independent from cryptocurrencies and Programmability

The Hyperledger Fabric can be implemented without the use of any Cryptocurrencies.
